Intrusive Thoughts (And Where To Find Them)

Like my one post every five or so years on here? You’ll *love* my Substack!

Occasionally I have to remind myself, other people, and – crucially – HM Revenue & Customs, that I’m a writer.

So what better way than starting a brand new Substack! It’s called Intrusive Thoughts (And Where To Find Them) and, naturally, I would be over the moon if you subscribed.

As the name suggests, some posts will focus on those darned circular thoughts & the mental health side of things I’ve previously written about. But it will also be a place for other pieces of writing I’ve never found a home for.

Now I *know* I didn’t post much over here. But I’m now trying to write something on a pretty watertight fortnightly schedule, which I’ve so far stuck to by posting a WHOPPING three times. Roughly about as many posts as I’ve managed in a decade on here.

So… erm… You should probably go over there?

At the bottom is a link to my first article. All about how I managed to get over my fear of flying. Partly thanks to a moustached Virgin Atlantic pilot, partly thanks to the 2016 Zac Efron vehicle Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates. And how doing so genuinely changed my life.

But there’s also posts on my tragic addiction to sample sales, and a deep-dive into the making of our award-winning short film Argh! (more on that at the very bottom of this). So if any of those things sound up your street please subscribe!

Because, as you probably guessed, I’m not going to be posting on here anytime soon. But, hey, we had fun right?

Good, clean, extremely irregular fun.

P.S. Our terrific little short film Argh! is now on YouTube as well. Where it’s already been watched by roughly five times the population of Billericay, the town we filmed it in. Let’s make that six!
